"The Sarbloh Scholar" is a blog dedicated to translating and presenting
Puratan (ancient)
Sikh Literature to the online community. This is mainly done in a series of posts, sorted by historical events in the extraordinary history of the
Sikhs (In a "
Today in History" type of format). This page primarily focuses on translating the epic "
Sri Gur Pratap Suraj Granth" by Mahakavi Bhai Santokh Singh, as well as other scriptures such as the "
Sri Gur Panth Prakash" by Rattan Singh Bhangoo. However, I'm not just stopping there. My mission is to make "
The Sarbloh Scholar" a portal for learning all about
Sikhi, its history, principles, beliefs, and its traditions. My goal with this page is to revive
Puratan traditions and clear the various misunderstandings (about our history, beliefs, traditions, etc.) that have been lurking through our
Panth in recent years. My method of doing this is by retelling stories from our history, and using various
Puratan scriptures as evidence to back up provided information. This blog promises to present unbiased translations to the
Sangat (community) in order to accurately tell the tales of the great
Gurus, Warriors, Saints, and Martyrs throughout
Sikh history.
